Meet Sal Santoro
Sal Santoro was first elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2007 to represent Boone County residents in House District 60. He has a conservative record we can rely on, and has helped pass some of the strongest pro-life legislation in Kentucky’s history. Endorsed by the NRA and Kentucky Right to Life PAC, Sal Santoro stands tall for our values.
Sal Santoro's professional experience includes working as the president of Santoro Electric Company Inc. in Union, Kentucky. An experienced businessman, Sal Santoro is experienced in utilities distribution and what it takes to run a small business. His knowledge of state government will help our Commonwealth recover from the economic effects of the pandemic. Part of that recovery will include removing overly burdensome regulations – to support small businesses and create jobs. As an experienced legislator, Sal Santoro is well-positioned to secure the fair share of road funds and investments in local infrastructure for Boone County.
Before seeking public office, Santoro was a Kentucky State Trooper. He carries that experience with him to the state Capitol and is a strong supporter of our local police. Rep. Santoro is chair of the Florence Fire Protection District. He is a member of the Associated Builders & Contractors as well as the Knights of Columbus. Sal Santoro also attends Saint Paul Catholic Church in Florence.
